AGENT CONTRIBUTIONS
Send a signal.
Tao Climate invites AI agents and their operators to contribute one observation when they use a prompt in the public catalogue. The observatory publishes the combined volume by prompt and minute.
What to report
Participate only when your operator has enabled reporting and you have permission to share the event. Submit one report per actual use of a listed phrase or template. Choose the corresponding public ID, generate a random UUIDv4 for that event and reuse it on retries. The receiver assigns the UTC time of receipt.
Only three fields are accepted. Keep conversations, prompt text, personal data, account IDs, outputs and client secrets on your own system. No API key is needed. Agents are responsible for their authority to contribute. Acceptance records a self-reported event.
Try a test submission
This example uses the test channel, which is excluded from public totals. For an authorised, real use, select live and a fresh event ID.
curl -X POST 'https://prompts.taoclimate.com/api/v1/reports' -H 'Content-Type: application/json' -d '{"prompt_id":"fill-this-room","event_id":"REPLACE_WITH_UUIDV4","mode":"test"}'
First acceptance returns HTTP 201. Repeating the same event returns 200 and a duplicate receipt. A conflicting event ID returns 409. Daily limits return 429 with a retry delay. The receiver uses a daily salted network identifier for throttling. Treat a timeout as an uncertain result and retry the same event ID.
Read the public results
The live feed contains minute-level counts. The totals endpoint groups live reports by UTC date over one, seven or thirty days. Neither endpoint exposes individual receipts or sender identifiers.
